BC Stats FAQ: Bodycam Stats Tracker Help
Practical answers about screenshot analysis, review statuses, K/D calculations, supported maps and modes, duplicate protection, private match history and screenshot handling.
Start with the workflow
BC Stats works from screenshots you choose yourself. It first checks whether an image looks like a final Bodycam scoreboard, then tries to identify the result, mode, map and the player row matching the nickname you entered. Valid rows can be reviewed before they are saved to your private account history.
For the most reliable recognition, use Bodycam's 2D interface. If you want the full step-by-step explanation, including what ready, needs review and duplicate statuses mean, open the dedicated guide.
Bodycam Stats FAQ
Short answers for common questions. Detailed workflow explanations live in How it works and the dedicated guides. Current site version: v1.0.17.
What is BC Stats?
BC Stats is a free, independent Bodycam stats tracker built around your own end-of-match screenshots. For the full workflow, see How it works.
Does BC Stats connect directly to Bodycam?
No. It does not connect to the game client, your Bodycam account or game servers. It reads screenshots you select yourself.
Can I search for another player's statistics?
No. BC Stats has no player search and no public rankings. It tracks only the matches you add yourself.
What screenshots should I upload?
Use the final end-of-match scoreboard with WIN or LOSS visible. The 2D interface is easiest to read. See the scoreboard screenshot guide.
Why was my screenshot rejected?
The analyzer could not confirm that the image was a final scoreboard. See analysis statuses for the exact workflow.
What does “needs review” mean?
The screenshot looks valid, but a required field still needs checking. Correct the editable values before saving; the full explanation is in How it works.
Can I correct incorrectly recognized data?
Yes. Final-score rows let you correct WIN/LOSS, mode, map, kills and deaths before saving. K/D updates from the edited K and D values.
How is K/D calculated?
Cumulative K/D is total saved kills divided by total saved deaths. BC Stats does not average the per-match ratios.
How are wins and losses tracked?
Every saved match stores WIN or LOSS. Win rate is wins divided by all saved matches.
Which game modes are supported?
Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Hardpoint, Versus and Wingman. Read the individual mode guides for how each mode affects your stats.
Which maps are supported?
BC Stats currently recognises 14 PvP map names. The current list and how to read per-map performance are on the Bodycam maps guide.
What happens when BC Stats detects a duplicate match?
The match is marked as a duplicate and cannot be added again. The duplicate checks are explained in How it works.
How is my match history created and ordered?
Saved results form a private chronological history. When several screenshots are selected, BC Stats processes the oldest file date first where that metadata is available.
Are my screenshots uploaded or stored?
No. The image is read in your browser. Only the match result you choose to save goes to your private account.
