Terms of Use

Effective date: 13 September 2026

These Terms of Use and Electronic Services Terms (“Terms”) govern the use of BC Stats at bc-stats.com (the “Service”). BC Stats is an independent, unofficial community tool for players of Bodycam.

1. Service provider

The Service is provided by Dawid Kobus, Bielsko-Biała, Poland (“Operator”). Contact: [email protected].

2. What BC Stats does

3. Account registration, email verification and security

To save match history, a user provides a valid email address, password and Bodycam nickname and confirms the legal acknowledgement shown during registration. A new account must verify the registration email address through the time-limited verification link before sign-in is enabled. The user is responsible for keeping account credentials and access to the registered email address secure.

4. Technical requirements

A reasonably current browser with JavaScript and features required for local image/OCR processing is required. Internet access is required to load BC Stats, account/API functions and OCR resources.

5. Conclusion and termination

The free electronic-service relationship begins when the user starts using the Service and, for account functions, continues while the account exists. A user may stop using the Service at any time.

Deleting your statistics

You can delete your complete server-stored match history and statistics at any time using the “Delete all stats” button in the account panel. This action deletes the saved match rows for your account. It does not delete your BC Stats account, email address, password hash, Bodycam nickname, browser preferences, chart settings or other account/browser data. The account panel also provides Delete account. This action requires an explicit confirmation phrase and the account password and permanently deletes the live account record together with its saved matches and active verification-token record. Hosting backups may retain deleted data temporarily until they expire under the backup cycle. Other personal-data requests can be sent to [email protected].

6. User rules

Users must use the Service lawfully and must not attack, overload, disrupt or bypass security, use malicious automation, process unlawful content, access another user’s private account without authorization, or misrepresent BC Stats as an official Reissad Studio service.

7. Accuracy and availability

OCR can misread values and game updates can change scoreboard layouts. BC Stats does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent compatibility or error-free recognition.

8. Match history and duplicate detection

Saved match rows belong to the private account that created them. BC Stats may store cryptographic or perceptual fingerprints/signatures to detect duplicate submissions. These values are not intended to recreate the original screenshot. Individual saved-match deletion is not currently provided. The Delete all stats action deletes the account’s complete saved match history and statistics only.

9. Intellectual property and game references

BC Stats is unofficial and independent. “Bodycam” is used only to identify the game. BODYCAM, Reissad Studio names, game assets and related rights belong to their respective rights holders. No affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or approval is claimed.

10. Advertising and third-party services

Advertising is not currently treated as active. If it is activated, providers such as Google may process information according to consent choices, applicable law, the Privacy Policy, the Cookies & Storage page and their own terms.

11. Privacy and service analytics

Information about accounts, server-backed match history, local screenshot processing, browser storage, LH.pl, Cloudflare, OCR-resource delivery, optional first-party analytics and privacy rights is in the Privacy Policy and Cookies & Storage page. With consent where required, BC Stats may collect limited usage and diagnostic events to understand use of the Service, improve the analyzer, measure account activation/retention and diagnose failures.

12. Risks of electronic services

Internet services involve risks such as malicious software, phishing, browser vulnerabilities, third-party failures, credential compromise and unauthorized access. Users should keep systems updated and protect account credentials.

13. Administration

Authorized administrators may use the BC Stats administration panel to operate and support the Service. Administrative actions can include viewing account status and match counts, manually confirming email verification, resending verification emails, managing administrator status and deleting user accounts. Access is restricted to accounts marked as administrators.

14. Complaints

Complaints may be sent to [email protected]. The Operator aims to respond within 14 calendar days. This does not limit mandatory legal rights.

15. Liability

The Service is free and provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from OCR errors, temporary unavailability, user-side data loss, third-party failures or game updates. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Changes

These Terms may be updated for legal, security, technical or functional reasons. The current version and effective date will be published here.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Polish law to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.

18. Contact

Questions can be sent to [email protected].
